Position size from the amount you can lose
Quantity equals the quote amount you are willing to lose, divided by the absolute distance between entry and stop.
Method
Notional equals that quantity times the entry price. Distance percent equals the absolute distance divided by the entry price. Fees, funding and contract lot size are not included. KuCoin Futures orders are sent in that exchange's contract lots, so this quantity is not a KuCoin lot count.
Assumptions
- The formula uses the absolute distance. If the stop is on the wrong side of the entry for the side you chose, the page says so and still shows the distance-based size.
- This is not PERP KING's live order size, and it is not a liquidation price.
