Simulation

Simulation places no real orders

Simulation is optional. It follows new PERP KING decisions inside a simulated balance and your limits. It does not send orders to Kraken Futures, Binance Futures, OKX Perpetuals, Bybit, Bitget Futures or KuCoin Futures. It is not a description of the platform, and it is not LIVE.

What Simulation is

When Simulation is running and the system opens a new position, the simulated account enters the same market and direction. Size uses your risk per trade and the stop distance, capped by your leverage and position limits. The simulated position closes when that position closes, or immediately if you press Stop in Simulation.

Positions that were already open before you started Simulation are not joined. An exchange key is not required. A trade key is not used.

LIVE remains available separately. Starting Simulation does not place live orders, and starting LIVE does not turn simulated results into exchange fills. See LIVE trading and LIVE and Simulation.

How a simulated fill is calculated

ItemWhat Simulation uses
Entry and exit priceThe current price, with 0.02% adverse slippage
Fee0.05% on each side
SizeYour risk per trade and the stop distance, inside your leverage cap and position limit

Difference from a real fillNot included
Simulated results are hypothetical. They can differ materially from real trading. They are not a forecast and not a promise of performance.

The starting simulated balance is yours to set, between $1,000 and $1,000,000. Changing it resets the simulated balance, and it can be changed only when Simulation is stopped and its positions are closed. The default for a new account is $10,000.

Controls

Simulation has its own state: off, running, paused, or stopped. Pause blocks new simulated entries and leaves the simulated positions open to be closed with the underlying decision. Stop closes the simulated positions immediately. Neither control sends an order to an exchange, and neither pauses or stops LIVE. LIVE has its own Pause and Stop, described on Pause, Resume and Stop.

The daily loss limit blocks new simulated entries until 00:00 UTC. It is the same style of limit as in LIVE, applied to the simulated account. Open simulated positions still follow the exit.

What it is for

Simulation is a way to see the decision stream under your own limits before or alongside LIVE. It is not a backtest of a strategy you design, and it does not replay a promised history. PERP KING does not publish marketed performance figures for the beta.

If you want real orders, use LIVE on the connected exchange. See all six integrations. Read the risk disclosure either way. Leveraged derivatives can lose the capital committed.

Questions

Does Simulation send orders to an exchange?

No. Simulation is calculated inside PERP KING. It does not place, cancel or close exchange orders.

Are simulated results real performance?

No. They are hypothetical, include modelled fees and slippage, and omit funding. They can differ from what a live order would have done.

Does Stop in Simulation close my exchange positions?

No. Simulation Stop closes simulated positions only. LIVE Stop is a separate control and closes positions PERP KING opened on the exchange.
