How the contract is named
A BTC perpetual on this integration is PF_XBTUSD. Other bases use the same PF_ prefix and a USD quote, such as PF_ETHUSD. A Kraken spot API key does not run it.

API key and secret.
Read-only key
Shows balances, positions and orders in the terminal. It does not place orders.
Trade key
Needs trading permission to place and cancel orders and protective stops. Leave withdrawal permission off. PERP KING does not require deposit, transfer, or withdrawal, and it does not call those endpoints.
You create the key at Kraken for Kraken Futures. PERP KING asks for the API key and the secret. This integration does not ask for a passphrase. The key is checked with Kraken before it is stored.
On Kraken Futures the derivatives key has no narrower trade-only choice. LIVE uses General API set to Full Access and Withdrawal API set to No Access. PERP KING does not verify that withdrawal switch through the API.
