Bitget Futures is one of six PERP KING integrations. You create the key at Bitget for USDT-M perpetual futures. PERP KING asks for the API key, the secret and the passphrase. The key is checked with Bitget before it is stored.
The market
The integration uses USDT-M perpetual futures. A BTC perpetual on this integration is BTCUSDT. Bitget's fee page and the contract's funding interval are Bitget's. They are not copied here.

The API permission model
Bitget's REST introduction, read on 3 October 2026, separates four permissions. Read-Only queries data. Trade places and cancels orders. Transfer moves coins between accounts. Withdraw sends assets out, and Bitget states that an API withdrawal works only from a whitelisted IP.

Bitget also says the passphrase is set by you and cannot be retrieved if forgotten. The key then has to be created again. Bind an IP if Bitget offers it on that screen.

Where the money stays
Customer assets remain at the exchange. PERP KING does not receive deposits, does not keep a customer custody ledger, and is not the counterparty to the trade. It does not call withdrawal, deposit, or transfer endpoints. Leaving those permissions off is a setting on the exchange. PERP KING does not get an API proof that the switch is off.
