Connect KuCoin Futures
KuCoin Futures is one of six PERP KING integrations. You create the key at KuCoin Futures. PERP KING asks for the API key, the secret and the passphrase. Order size is sent in KuCoin's contract lots. The key is checked with KuCoin before it is stored.
The market
Use the Futures API, not a spot-only key. KuCoin's current and historical funding, and open interest, are public market-data endpoints on KuCoin's own API. The interval and the fee for a contract stay on KuCoin's pages.

The API permission model
KuCoin documents key creation on its API authentication pages, and the signed request includes a passphrase header. The permission names on the Futures key screen are KuCoin's and can be renamed. Read that screen on the day you create the key.

If KuCoin's screen uses different words next month, the rule does not move: the key can read or trade futures, and it cannot withdraw or transfer. PERP KING does not verify that switch through the API.

Where the money stays
Customer assets remain at the exchange. PERP KING does not receive deposits, does not keep a customer custody ledger, and is not the counterparty to the trade. It does not call withdrawal, deposit, or transfer endpoints. Leaving those permissions off is a setting on the exchange. PERP KING does not get an API proof that the switch is off.
