OKX is one of six PERP KING integrations. You create the key at OKX for USDT perpetual swaps. PERP KING asks for the API key, the secret and the passphrase. The key is checked with OKX before it is stored.
The market
OKX documents perpetual swaps as instrument type SWAP, separate from expiry futures and from spot. The funding interval for a contract is on OKX's public market data for that instrument. This page does not freeze it.

The API permission model
OKX's API guide lists three permissions: Read, Trade and Withdraw. Read can view account information. Withdraw can make withdrawals. Trade is the one to read twice: OKX states that Trade can place and cancel orders and can also do funding transfer.

Because OKX's Trade permission is documented as broader than placing an order, do not treat the word Trade as a promise that transfer is impossible. PERP KING does not call transfer or withdrawal endpoints. You still leave Withdraw off, and you should prefer an IP allow-list if OKX offers one on that key.
What you paste into PERP KING
Paste the API key, the secret and the passphrase. OKX says the passphrase cannot be recovered if you lose it. You would create a new key. See the OKX page.
Where the money stays
Customer assets remain at the exchange. PERP KING does not receive deposits, does not keep a customer custody ledger, and is not the counterparty to the trade. It does not call withdrawal, deposit, or transfer endpoints. Leaving those permissions off is a setting on the exchange. PERP KING does not get an API proof that the switch is off.
